Glucosamine is an amino sugar made from a protein molecule mixed with a sugar. Occurs naturally in the body, although production may decrease with age. Glucosamine is not easily obtained from food sources. Glucosamine Sulphate used in Nature Aid products are all guaranteed salt free. Only use the 2KCl form. The glucosamine is made using potassium chloride, a safe, sodium free product, which is used to stabilise the Glucosamine supplement. Glucosamine Sulphate provides Glucosamine 2KCl 1000mg with Vitamin C. Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation and the normal cartilage function.
